What Is TheInslider?

TheInslider is San Diego’s newest food truck addiction, serving gourmet burgers and sides on the go.

Have you ever visited a restaurant and simply could not decide which single item to order? We know the feeling. It is that desire to try a little bit of everything that inspired the concept behind The InSlider.

Driven by variety, our first steps were to ask for input from the community on an assortment of topics from our name to colors for the truck. We then united a team with diverse experience in culinary, business and creative ventures. After much anticipation, and months spent developing the menu/preparing the truck – TheInslider hit the streets in March 2012. We’ve been serving up gourmet sliders and fries all over San Diego ever since.

Community, sharing, variety, and a love for unique, tasty food have inspired us to embark on this culinary adventure. Come join us!

Sliders and SlideKicks

Our secret recipe is simple – only use the best ingredients. A truly great burger is only as good as each of its parts. Each item from TheInslider is made fresh on the truck daily, and made to order.

Freshly Baked Bread

We use brioche style buns from San Diego’s own Le Chef Bakery. Each bun is lightly toasted before meeting the other ingredients, ensuring your burger will be fresh and crisp whether you enjoy it at the truck or your desk.

Superior Quality Meat

We only use American raised Kobe beef, with the perfect juiciness and tenderness. Our pork and chicken are locally sourced, and tender Kurobuta pork is a frequent star on our menu.

Homemade Toppings

Each slider is paired with its own blend of unique toppings and sauce. From our jalapeno BBQ sauce to caramelized balsamic onions, rest assured you are receiving the highest quality, freshest ingredients available.

Crispy Fries

Every good burger needs fries. From classic, golden shoestring fries to crisp sweet potato fries topped with garlic aioli sauce, our SlideKicks are a perfect match.
